E is for Effort awards
I made awards (similar to praise notes) for effort I see in the classroom. I am hanging them up as students earn them. If you would like a copy to edit for your use, email me and I will send you the document.
How do you feel this is working for you?? I've done something similar with my high school students...they can earn a "High-Five" note for a completed task, good grade on a test, raising their hand in class...etc. They are just small goofy notes that I found at a thrift shop, but the kids seem to enjoy getting them!
It is going pretty well Ashley! The kids really want to get them and they love to point out papers they feel are extra special. I don't think it will work for all of them but it will for most!
