Free online webbing software

Here is my example of one way to summarize or take notes.
This free online software is similar to Kidspiration or Inspiration.
It is called bubbl.us "brainstorm and mind maps online"
It is fun, easy and another way that students can visually take notes.

  2. This is really neat! I saw something like this when I was student-teaching at Leominster High, and I couldn't, for the life of me, remember the website! This is a similar one, and I know my kids will love it. They love anything they can do on the computer anyway!

  3. Animoto.com is also a pretty cool website, especially for your more visual kids. They can use this website to make a video (I believe it can only be 30 seconds max with the free version) with pictures and music to summarize a story. I've used it as an alternate assessment for a Shakespeare's Macbeth. The kids loved it!! All video's are presented to the class and the kids had to explain either in writing (on a chart) why they chose each picture and it's significance to the story. It's a really cool project if you can get a few days of computer time!

  5. I love Animoto. We use it a lot here at HMS. Another great site is
Prezi.com. It is a zooming presentation software online for free. It is
really fun and much better than always using Power point to present a topic.
