January's Topic: Homework and Practice

I apologize for the delay, but it is time to move on to the January topic: Homework and Practice.

I found this section to be very interesting, as the topic of homework is always brought up in discussions at the high school. Teacher's are constantly debating the importance or even necessity of homework in an age when students face a multitude of distractions when outside of school.  Therefore, I thought I would pose the following questions: How are we able to get students to complete homework? Are we able to ensure that parents are involved with homework, particularly motivating their children to complete homework? Can we design homework assignments in more interesting ways to provide incentives for students to complete homework?

After reading the chapter, those are just a few thoughts I have, coming from the high school perspective. Respond to the above questions, or share your thoughts when it comes to homework.
